Caring for an elderly loved one can be extremely difficult. Especially when the burden of providing care becomes so overwhelming that it pervades every aspect of your life, interfering with the quality of your work, your relationships with others, your own personal health and, ultimately, the relationship between you and the one you're caring for.

The Respite Care program at Roselani Place is a short-term care alternative. While no one can truly replace the love and care of a family member, our Respite Care program can offer you the break you need. Take that long-overdue vacation while knowing that your loved-one will be cared for by our trained staff 24 hours a day. Or, if you already have a personal care giver, it's an opportunity for you to give them the break they need to avoid the burn-out that so frequently accompanies dedicated personal care.

The Respite Care program at Roselani Place is also perfect for that short-term recovery sometimes necessary after surgery or a stay in the hospital. This alternative allows the resident to continue the healing or recuperation process while the family is afforded the time to properly prepare for their return home.

Our Respite Care program features furnished studio units, and includes three meals per day, utilities, housekeeping, laundry services, activity programming, and scheduled transportation services. Individualized service plans are developed for each resident to reflect their specific needs.

A minimum stay is required and daily rates are variable based on specific care services that may be required.
